THE ALTONA CITY CUP 2010 BEING HELD OVER THREE WEEKENDS

The competition will consist of a round robin over two weekends with finals being played on the last weekend. All teams must be entered by the last weekend of the FFV season, first in will ENSURE a place for your team.

 | Altona City stay in WPL in 2011.
Altona City defeated Bendigo Vipers 3-1 to keep their place in the Womens Premier League in 2011. Its the first time in over five years that a team has been promoted and stayed up in the WPL. Well done to Head Coach Paul Kilpatrick and his coaching staff on the great result for the Club. With a year of experience under their belt the team will only improve in 2011. The Altona City WPL team has brought the club more exposure than its ever had on TV Ch 31, FFV webite, Goal Weekly etc. The Girls and Club would like to acknowledge the Major Sponsor Decor Homes for their wonderful support during the year. Again well done to the Senior and Reserves WPL team.

We are looking to appoint a Development Coach for our New Senior Women's Metro/State 3 team in 2011. Working closely with our Senior and Reserve Coaches, the suitable candidate would help develop youth players and prepare them for the transition to Womens Premier League football. Altona City SC - Seeking Coach U13/14 Girls 2011
Altona City Soccer Club is currently seeking expressions of interest for a potential coaching position for a junior girls team U13/14 for 2011. Adequate numbers have yet to be reached however we are trying to recruit additional girls. This is a pathway to our WPL teams. Please email your expression of interest including a summary of your coaching experience and qualifications to Roger Borg: altonacitysoccerclub@hotmail.com For those who are inexperienced and still wish to express an interest, feel free to do so as the Club will offer support and opportunities for the right individuals wishing to develop their coaching skills with us.

Altona City Soccer Club has been operating in Altona for 45 years.Located at Kim Reserve on Millers Rd in Altona, just opposite the beautiful Cherry Lake Recreational Reserve in the "Bayside" suburbs of Melbourne. 2011 Season Altona City Soccer Club Coaches Required
We are seeking applications for team coaches for teams in our Junior Boys and Girls Development Program in 2011. If you are looking for a club that promotes player development and supports its coaches with excellent resources and direction, then we would like to hear from you. We have a need for passionate and competitive male or female junior coaches that want to teach juniors the technical and tactical skills of the game as well as develop their own experience and skills. We have numerous positions available.
